Behind Rainbow
At the age of 19, Wai Jia struggled with depression and anorexia through medical school. At the time, she wasn't sure if she would live, much less graduate.
Yet, after her courageous recovery, people told her to hide her past.
Determined to help others, Wai Jia overcame her fear of stigma and published "A Taste of Rainbow" to raise awareness about eating disorders and depression.
About Rainbow
Based on a story about a little girl and her ice-cream, this seemingly child-like book is packed with poignant metaphors.
An inspirational read, Rainbow emboldens one to cling onto hope and find courage amidst adversity.
Today, Rainbow is used as a resource in counseling and therapy centers in USA, and is being developed into an intervention program to help those in need.
Rainbow's Voice
As a patient-turned-humanitarian doctor, and now an inspirational speaker, Wai Jia's testimony of hope & courage has led her to speak all over the world.
She has also been invited to speak by Forbes "30 Under 30" in Boston, the HungryforHope conference in Nashville and various podcast platforms in USA.
